]]>As summer starts winding down and the long nights turn into fall evenings, there is still time to see live music and attend events outdoors. There is one more concert in the Itsaca Outdoor Concert Series. Elk Grove is hosting a Free Dental Day and a Recycling event. We also have our Hometown Parade coming up right here in Elk Grove Village along with our annual Oktoberfest, so stay tuned for more information about that in our upcoming blogs!
The Last Summer Concert
In Itasca – Join us for free family concerts held at Usher Park. Enjoy music from a variety of bands from the Chicagoland area. Don’t forget your lawn chairs and a picnic basket and get ready to hear some great music! We strongly encourage social distancing and wearing masks if you are not vaccinated, especially when walking around in the crowd. The performance will be canceled if there is inclement weather. All concerts will be held at Usher Park from 7 pm – 8:30 pm.

Free Dental Day
For those in need of dental assistance at no cost, Elk Grove Family Dental will be hosting a free dental day on Friday, August 28th. There will be a surgeon and periodontist on-site with help from staff and volunteers.
When: Friday, August 28th from 8 am – 5 pm
Where: 8 E Devon Avenue

End of August Electronics Recycling
Elk Grove and Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County are sponsoring a document destruction and electronics recycling event on Saturday, August 29th. Residents must live in SWANCC’s communities to participate. Demand is high, so get there early.
When: Saturday, August 29th from 9 am – 12 pm

]]>We are excited that summer is in full swing and live music is happening again right here in Elk Grove Village!
Nothing screams summer like concerts out in the open air, especially when you get to hear classic bands play right here in Elk Grove. The Mid-Summer Classics Concert Series is back in 2021, with concerts happening Tuesday nights on the Village Green.
While Loverboy was set to play this week, the band could not make it into the US due to Covid restrictions. In lieu of this news, the band War will be taking their place this coming Tuesday, July 20th.
This concert is part of Elk Grove’s Mid-Summer Classics Concert Series, which also includes another concert by the world-famous Beach Boys on July 27th.
Concerts take place on the Village Green (901 Wellington) here in Elk Grove Village.
