The Flea Market is held on the first Sunday of every month and the preceding Saturday in a location an hour west of Chicago (March-December).

Moviemakers, celebrities, and collectors come to us for their monthly fix of adventure and discovery. Come check out for yourself what all the TV shows about collecting and old things are truly about. The adage "One man's junk is another man's treasure" was a favorite of Helen Robinson's. This month, what will you discover?

We have everything, including refinished furniture, vinyl albums, sports collectibles, and handcrafted items. We rank among the world's greatest and oldest antique and collectible flea markets. We've been a location where individuals can come to have fun searching for and discovering the one item they've been looking for for a very long time.

More than 600 vendors are located outside, indoors, and under sheds. People claim that if they made it, Kane is where you'll find it!

We love the idea of giving back this holiday season while still having fun, and we are holding several events here at the apartment to help out as well as welcome people to the community.

We are a local Toys for Tots donation center, and toys can be donated for kids at our front office. We are collecting new unwrapped toys for the TOYS FOR TOTS FOUNDATION.  The Toys for Tots runs from November 9th with December 9th being the last day of collecting a donation. Drop off a toy and Make a Child's Christmas Come True.

All November long, you can donate to our food drive right here at Willow Crossing. Non-perishables can be brought directly to the leasing office, even if you are not a resident! These donations will go directly to helping families in need this holiday season, so stop by and give back this month.
 

Since November is the month of giving, we are also hosting a 50/50 raffle benefiting the less fortunate while also giving back to our own community. Please stop by the leasing office for more information and to buy your raffle tickets and help the cause. This partnership is with Institute for Community, a non-profit organization building communities and solving problems within them.

Finally, we will be hosting a New Resident Welcome Brunch on November 28th, 2021 from 12 pm – 1 pm at our updated resident lounge. Join us for a light brunch, gifts for new residents, and meeting members of the community.

Elk Grove Village Fireworks

Our residents at Willow Crossing Apartments will be happy to know that Elk Grove Village is planning an extra-special Independence Day Celebration for 2021, with a fireworks show experience that will commemorate the Fourth of July. As surrounding Northwest suburban towns announce more cancellations of summer events due to the pandemic, Elk Grove Village is doubling down on plans to host concerts and festivals in the spirit of unity and independence. 

This is definitely perfect news for our residents who are looking forward to watching amazing fireworks on the 4th! The event is sponsored by the Lions Club and is held at 901 Wellington Avenue for our residents to enjoy. This 25th annual tradition will be held at the Elk Grove Park on July 4th, from 6pm to 10pm in the evening. Fireworks, food, music, and fun all await the residents of Willow Crossing as Elk Grove Village celebrates Independence Day and pays homage to the Red, White, and Blue.

Other Fireworks Shows

Alternatively, our residents can also enjoy some fireworks in other less-nearby locations. Over at nearby Schaumburg , the Schaumburg Boomers are hosting a post-game fireworks display presented by Residential Heating and Cooling. A few minutes north in Arlington Heights, Arlington Park is hosting their annual fireworks night along Euclid Avenue, from 2 in the afternoon to 9 in the evening. For residents near the O’Hare International Airport on Independence Day weekend, the Glenview Fourth of July celebration is held on 2001 Patriot Blvd in Glenview, Illinois at Gallery Park on the Fourth of July.
